Fastjet has a famous inflight magazine called Travelsmart. The magazine is packed with the latest travel news, stories, tips and general entertainment. Each passenger receives one and it's completely free to use during the flight.
Passengers are also allowed to use mobile devices that work via Wifi services when the cabin crew advises it is safe to do.
Sticking to their low cost model, Fastjet passengers have to pay extra for checked in baggage. Any baggage larger than the standard hand luggage (45cm x 56cm x 25cm) will need to be booked in separately from the standard flight ticket. Checked in luggage comes at a price of R240 per 20kgs. Luggage space can be purchased in conjunction with your flight ticket.
The cabin classes on Fastjet are only available in economy class. The aircraft however is extremely comfortable and is considered a very modern and luxury economy class aircraft.
