Checking in with Qatar Airways is a simple and pleasant experience.

Passengers have three options to check in – online, mobile or airport check-in.

Online Check-In:

Online check-in is a convenient way to check and save time at the airport. For U.S departure flights, passengers can check-in up to 24 hours in advance. All other flights allow check-in from 90minutes to 36 hours prior to departure. 

Mobile Check-In:

Qatar Airways has a mobile application that makes flight admin simpler and convenient. By downloading the app on any Android or iPhone to enable quick check-ins from wherever you are.

Airport Check-In:

Airport check-in opens 3 hours before flight departure, and closes 1 hour before flight departure.  

In order to check in, keep the following at hand:

• Tickets, boarding passes, Visa’s and passports
• Ensure luggage is labelled correctly
• Ensure no prohibited items are within luggage.

Qatar Airways baggage allowance varies for each cabin class as well as the destination to which you are flying.

Economy Class allows for 23-30kgs checked luggage.

Business Class allows for 32-40kgs checked luggage.

First Class allows for 23-50kgs checked luggage.

If baggage exceeds the weight allowance for a particular cabin class, additional costs may occur.

Hand Luggage Allowance:

Economy Class allows for 1 piece up to 7kg.

Business Class allows for 2 pieces up to 15kg.

First Class allows for 2 pieces, up to a weight of 15kg
